A regular on BBC One’s Live At The Apollo, Tez Ilyas is also known for Tez Ilyas’ Christmas (Sky Arts), Man Like Mobeen (BBC Three) and has also appeared on everything from The One Show to The News Quiz and, of course, his very own The Tez O’Clock Show on Channel 4. A phenomenally funny comedian who refuses to shy away from trickier subjects yet never forgets that the laughs need to come thick and fast. “The comedy equivalent of gold dust” Birmingham Post Alex Boardman cut his comedic teeth on the burgeoning Manchester scene with sets at the Frog & Bucket followed by an all nighter at The Hacienda! Family life has tempered the inner wild child but it’s certainly added to both the maturity and the relatability of his stand up. A gifted gag smith, Alex writes for a lot of big names and TV shows including John Bishop, A Question Of Sport and many we’re not allowed to say!
